Dispatcher (Customer Service / Call Management)

Location:

Job Overview

Seeking Dispatchers to support its Service Operations team at a newly opened onsite location in North Canton, OH. This role is critical to managing service calls, scheduling technicians, monitoring real-time workflows, and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.

The ideal candidate is self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced call management or customer service environment. This position includes evening, night, weekend, and rotating shifts based on business needs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide scheduling and dispatch support via the Call Management System

  • Monitor real-time operations to ensure SLAs are met and technicians are optimally assigned

  • Review incoming service calls and determine urgency and appropriate scheduling

  • Escalate urgent service issues and technician concerns to management

  • Identify and bundle duplicate calls to maximize efficiency

  • Monitor technician availability and document emergency unavailability

  • Coordinate parts ordering and shipment with technicians and schedule service accordingly

  • Track and escalate incomplete calls until resolution

  • Dispatch calls to Flex Labor Partners and monitor to completion

  • Communicate ETA updates to customers as required

  • Participate in conference calls and provide analysis on call volume, high-priority customers, and known issues

  • Document customer dissatisfaction, service issues, and technician recognition

  • Utilize geographic and team knowledge to improve resource efficiency

  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Work Schedule & Training
  • 8-hour shifts scheduled between 6:30 AM and 1:30 AM

  • Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Overtime available and may be mandatory based on business needs

  • Training (2 weeks):

    • Week 1: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    • Week 2: Mirrors assigned long-term shift


Qualifications
  • Self-directed with strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multitask accurately in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and general PC skills

  • Strong logical reasoning and understanding of business efficiency

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • 1–3 years of experience in customer service and/or call center operations

  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
