Job description

The Wood Automotive Group, one of Alberta's largest automobile retailers for over 40 years, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Service Advisor to join our South Centre Volkswagen team!

About the role:

  • Reporting to the Service Manager, the successful candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and will demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to total customer loyalty and follow up!

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Greet incoming customers and generate work orders as per repair order
  • Check vehicle for applicable warranty
  • Follow proper paper procedure for service department
  • Phone Customers with proper estimates for both required and recommended work
  • Recommend appropriate needed repairs and maintenance
  • Answer phones and give information as required
  • Contact Customers and resolve complaints as required
  • Liaise with service personnel for daily shop carry over
  • Follow up phone calls - notify Customer when vehicle is ready
  • Review invoices with Customer at time of pickup
  • Call back customers in a timely manner to check on satisfaction with repair

Qualifications:

  • 2 years Service Advising experience
  • Valid AB driver’s license and a clean & current driver’s abstract
