JOB SUMMARY

The Physician provides direct clinical treatment services to patients, ensuring that patients receive the treatment necessary to treat their medical complaint. The Physician works constructively and collaboratively with other health professionals and focuses on attaining high standards of healthcare within their specialty.
Duties may include patient care, instructing, monitoring, and advising other health care professionals, as appropriate.

JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS

Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician to join an Outpatient, Primary Care practice in Jackson, MO.

Practice Details:

  • Join a multi-specialty, outpatient clinic
    • 2 Family Medicine Physicians
    • 3 Primary Care APPs and 5 Urgent Care APPs
    • 2 LCSWs
  • Outpatient Clinic also has a Pharmacy, Imaging Center, and Laboratory
  • This is an opportunity for a Primary Care physician to build a practice from the ground up within the current Primary Care clinic.
  • Ideal candidate would see an average of 16-20 patients a day
  • EMR: Epic
  • After hours call is phone call only (currently 1:6 rotation)
  • Current physicians and 1 APP participate in nursing home rounding once a week and take nursing home call (phone only)
  • Work environment/day-to-day work:
    • Work schedule: M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm outpatient clinic; Urgent Care hours M-F 8:00am - 7:00pm, Sat-Sun 8:00am - 5:00pm

  • Must maintain active medical privileges and medical memberships.
  • Must be Board Eligible and complete certification within reasonable timeframe once hired, or be Board Certified
