Job Summary
As a University New Hire in the ConocoPhillips Information Technology organization, you'll participate in our Digital Rotation Program. This program includes two 1-year rotations within various disciplines. These disciplines include, but are not limited to, opportunities in:

Assignments will typically be at one of our sites located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma or Houston, Texas. There may also be limited opportunities available in Anchorage, Alaska. All IT University New Hires will begin their employment with our "Navigate" onboarding program in Bartlesville, OK before being assigned to their long-term location.
Position Overview
Responsibilities may include:
  • Identifying and implementing e-solutions that enhance our business model and streamline processes
  • Developing and supporting automation processes across enterprise functions
  • Translating business requirements into analytics solutions
  • Developing, implementing, and supporting network security processes
  • Utilizing a wide range of technologies including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data warehousing, telecommunications, and databases to deliver IT services
  • Developing technical direction to gain competitive advantage in scientific computing areas (visualization, storage networks, etc.)

Basic/Required:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institution
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field, or foreign equivalent
  • Current level in college: Senior
  • Expected graduation date: Fall 2026 through Spring/Summer 2027

Preferred:
  • Willing to work in any of these locations: Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Houston, Texas or Anchorage, Alaska
  • A minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical
  • Listens actively and invites new ideas for exchanged opinions, then influences and acts to drive positive performance and achieve results
  • Understands how key financial and quantitative indicators impact the business
