Basalite Building Products, LLC is one of the largest manufacturers of concrete masonry products in the Western United States. Product lines include structural block, interlocking paving stones, engineered wall systems, retaining walls, ornamental and garden products, and a full range of sack goods. We are a proud member of the Pacific Coast Building Products Family of Companies.
SALARY RANGE $30-$33 HR DOE
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, this position supports the customer service and logistics departments in all areas and is responsible for driving trucks to pick up and deliver products. This position is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Fills out log books, E-logs, work sheets, and reports.
  • Performs customer service tasks as necessary.
  • Checks load to orders and is responsible for leaving plant with correct products and quantities.
  • Secures loads with ropes, straps, stake side racks, and tarps.
  • Determines types of equipment to be used for jobs.
  • Transports products where needed to customers, stores, and yards.
  • Loads and unloads trucks as needed.
  • Maintains and fuels trucks and performs inspections on equipment.
  • Maintains work area according to company standards for cleanliness.
  • Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
  • All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representatives.

  • Requires on-the-job training to perform the duties of the job.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a valid California Class A driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Predictable and Regular attendance is required.
