Position: Auditing Clerk

Client: FL-DBPR-TLH

Location: 2601 Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, FL  32399

‘Duration: 01+ Months

FL-DBPR-TLH-Division of Regulation-Auditing Clerk - 20 hrs a week, Monday - Friday, flexible within the hours of 8am and 5pm.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  Professional Business Environment, cubicle

DRESS CODE:  Business Casual - no torn, offensive or revealing clothing 

PARKING:  Free surface or garage parking

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Auditing financial documents
  • Performing accounting calculations
  • Ability to determine the financial stability of companies
  • Utilize computer programs to find documents, perform calculations, and enter the required information into a reporting form
  • Candidate will not work outside the office or have contact with the public

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have finance/accounting experience in order to understand the auditing
  • Basic Accounting Skills
  • Excellent Computer Skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Knowledge of GAAP preferred
  • Previous auditing experience
  • Ability to work independently and think critically
