Summary:Supports the oversight of Cashier and Player Services operations during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforces internal controls, credit policies, and departmental procedures.
  • Maintains working knowledge of accounting systems related to cage and player services.
  • Promotes guest satisfaction and teamwork aligned with service quality standards.
  • Assists Shift Manager in supervising, scheduling, and monitoring cage activities.
  • Maintains personnel documentation (attendance, evaluations, disciplinary actions, etc.).
  • Authorizes credit within approved limits.
  • Oversees Player Services Cashier, Main Bank, Marker Bank, Fill Bank, and kiosk operations.
  • Safeguards company assets and completes daily Cage Closeout Summary.
  • Communicates shift activity and instructions to incoming shift manager.
  • Monitors cash levels and reports needs to management.
  • Identifies and resolves shift-related issues, escalating as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Licensing:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming Commission work permit.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily.
  • Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively to groups.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, AS400 systems, and Kronos timekeeping.
  • Strong math skills including percentages, proportions, and volume calculations.
  • Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.
  • Regularly lift/move up to 20 lbs.
  • Visual abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts and airborne particles.
