Job description

Are you a Food Service Associate looking to work for an amazing organization by serving others and connecting with your co-workers?

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part Time Food Service Associateย  to work at The Lighthouse located at 17600 Arbor Street, Omaha, NE 68130. ย The Lighthouse has 54 skilled nursing and long-term care suites.

We are looking for someone to work Friday, Saturday,ย  and Sundays 3:45p-7:30p and another day during the week 3:45p-7:30p.ย 

This position will pay up to $18.31/hour. ย Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.


What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of a Food Service Associate include assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher. Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register. Also maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria.

Skills & Requirements

Previous food service experience preferred.

BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) required or willing to obtain if hired (company pays for training).

Must be 18 years of age or older
For cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
