Huron is seeking an experienced Epic Cadence and Decision tree consultant with strong expertise in decision trees and scheduling optimization. This role will partner closely with clinical and operational leaders to design and improve scheduling workflows while serving as a key liaison between IT and the business.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design and optimization of Epic Cadence decision trees and scheduling workflows
  • Provide subject matter expertise on ambulatory scheduling best practices
  • Partner with providers and Service Line Leaders to gather requirements and guide system design
  • Translate business needs into functional Epic solutions
  • Support workflow improvements to enhance access, efficiency, and patient experience

Requirements:
  • Epic Cadence Certification (required)
  • Strong experience with decision tree build and maintenance
  • Deep knowledge of scheduling workflows and optimization strategies
  • Ability to engage directly with providers and operational leadership
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferences:
  • Experience working in large healthcare systems or complex ambulatory environments
  • Proven track record of workflow redesign and performance improvement initiatives
  • Strong consultative approach with ability to influence business decisions
  • Additional Epic certifications or cross-application knowledge is a plus

The estimated base rate range for this job will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans, which include medical, dental and vision coverage, and other wellness programs. The rate range of information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
