These roles often require experience with SQL, data modeling, and business intelligence tools.

What does a Caboodle do?

Caboodle professionals are experts in using Epic Caboodle, a healthcare data warehousing and analytics solution. They design, develop, and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards to help healthcare organizations manage and analyze large volumes of data from the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system. Their work supports decision-making, regulatory compliance, and operational improvements by ensuring accurate and accessible data. They often collaborate with IT, clinical, and business teams to tailor data solutions to organizational needs.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Caboodle analyst?

To thrive as a Caboodle Analyst, you need a strong background in data analytics, SQL, and healthcare data management, often supported by a degree in information systems or a related field. Familiarity with Epic Caboodle, Clarity, and certification in Epic data models are typically required. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication set standout analysts apart. These skills are crucial for ensuring accurate data extraction, meaningful reporting, and supporting informed decision-making in healthcare organizations.

They participate in meetings to gather requirements, provide technical guidance on best practices, and ensure that customizations align with clinical workflows and regulatory standards.
