We're seeking motivated, hands-on individuals from a construction or warehouse background to join our team as an Entry-Level Structured Cable Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a career in telecommunications, data center infrastructure, and low-voltage cabling. You'll work alongside experienced technicians, gaining valuable field experience while learning industry-standard installation practices and technologies.
Whether you have previous construction, warehouse, or technical experience, this role offers training and career growth in a rapidly expanding industry.
Schedule & Pay:
Monday-Saturday 10-hour shifts
$23+/hr
What You'll Do
  • Pull, route, dress, and label Cat5e and Cat6 cabling according to industry standards
  • Assist with RJ45 connector terminations and patch panel installations
  • Label and identify cables to support organized network infrastructure
  • Learn and perform basic punch-down terminations on telecom blocks
  • Support cable testing and troubleshooting using industry tools such as Fluke and EXFO equipment
  • Assist with fiber optic cable dressing and basic fiber handling procedures
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow all company and site-specific safety requirements
  • Work closely with senior technicians and supervisors to develop technical skills

Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction or technical environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
