Job description

Verigent, a nationwide Telecom and IT staffing firm, has an opening in Manhattan, NY for a low voltage technician!
This is a contract opportunity. If selected, you will work as a Verigent employee on contract to our client. Payment will be in the form of a W2 check or direct deposit.

Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY
Duration: 9+ months
Shift: Day/First Shift
Start Date: 1/20 - 1/27
Pay: 25-30/HR
Job Description:

  • Pulling and installing Cat 5/Cat 6 structured cabling
  • Installing cable trays/patch panels
  • Various low voltage work
  • Environment will be commercial ISP, mostly hospitals
  • Pay will be hourly based on experience
  • Access control device installations. Request to exit motions, card readers, door contacts.
Job Requirements:
  • New construction cabling experience is preferred, but also not required
  • Telephony tools and PPE required
  • OSHA 30 required
