Job Description

Seeking experienced Cable Technicians to support the installation and buildout of low-voltage infrastructure within a large manufacturing and industrial environment. This role focuses on structured cabling installation, maintenance, and infrastructure support, including copper and fiber optic cabling systems. Technicians will work alongside project teams to complete network and telecommunications installations while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Pull, route, dress, label, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage copper cabling.
  • Pull, route, and safely handle fiber-optic cabling.
  • Install and support structured cabling systems throughout industrial and commercial facilities.
  • Install and organize cabling within pathways, including J-hooks, ladder racks, cable trays, conduits, and overhead routes.
  • Support patch panels, racks, IDF/MDF rooms, and related network infrastructure.
  • Use cable testing equipment to validate and certify completed cable runs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, cabling schematics, and installation documentation.
  • Ensure cable installations are clean, organized, and properly labeled.
  • Work from aerial lifts and scissor lifts at heights up to 25 feet.
  • Follow all applicable safety procedures, PPE requirements, and site regulations.
  • Perform work safely within active industrial, manufacturing, or commercial environments.
  • Coordinate with project managers, technicians, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
  • Complete additional structured cabling and infrastructure tasks as project requirements evolve.

  • Ability to work at heights and operate aerial/scissor lifts.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Experience Level: Intermediate (3-5 years preferred)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
