Job description

Cable Pullers - (4 Techs / $30hr / Start 7/6/26)
Hiring 4 Cable Installers to support a communications customer with an installation project to run coax cables. Anyone that has run cable and terminated connector ends with (Comcast, AT&T, Verizon, Frontier, Spectrum, Direct TV etc.) can do this job.
LOCATION: Salinas CA 93901
POSITION: Contract (1 week) (may get selected to move to other projects as needed)
PROJECT DATES: 7/6/26 to 7/12/26
Hourly Pay: $30.00hr
Running Cable: 

  • Install, push, and pull coax, cables for communication through building floors, walls, and ductwork. Including terminating and testing cables as needed.
  • Work from blueprints or schematics to determine the best routes for the cables.
  • Installing cable supports like J-hooks, or other supports along the route to secure the cables.

Installing Connectors: 

  • Prepare the cable ends by stripping away the outer insulation and any shielding to expose the conductors.
  • Terminating connectors by attaching connectors to the cable ends using a crimper tool. 

Testing 

  • Label cables and connectors for identification purposes and update documentation to reflect the changes made during installation. 

Requirements 

  • 1 year of cable pulling or cable installation with companies like (Comcast, AT&T, Verizon, Frontier, Spectrum, Direct TV etc.)
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
