Job Title: Cable Helper
Location: Kiawah Island, SC
Pay: $17-$21
Company Summary: Our client is a proven leader in the communications industry, offering a professional level of cabling expertise to their partners. The client provides the resources necessary for its team members to excel and reach their career goals in the communications industry.
Position Summary: Anistar is seeking an Cable Technician- Level 1 for our client. Our client is one of the leading data and voice integrator in the United States.
The ideal candidate will under general supervision, maintain a highly analytical and problem solving mindset while working as a team player and must possess the following:
Technicians with exposure on working with various cables that include but are not limited to: twisted pair, coax, CAT-5, CAT-6, single & multi mode fiber optic cables. Cable installation includes: pulling, placement, termination, testing, and labeling. Knowledge of Telecom systems, TCP/IP networks, CCTV security, access control & wireless solutions. BICSI cert (current or past) a plus but not needed. This is a full time opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Pull, Term, Test - CAT-5, CAT-6
  • Build out MDF/IDFs
  • Install J Hooks
  • Read blue prints

Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in commercial cabling.
  • Experience pulling and terminating cables.
  • Ability to climb ladders and insert cable in Access Points.
  • Able to work from boom/scissor lifts
