Job description

About the Role: 

National Cable is hiring aerial utility construction laborers to support the building and maintenance of overhead fiber and coax systems. This hands-on role involves working outdoors, operating bucket trucks, and helping construct essential telecom infrastructure. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and repair aerial telecommunication systems
  • Use hand and power tools( e.g. drills, lashers, climbing gear)
  • Operate heavy equipment
  • Work aloft using climbing hooks and ladders
  • Direct traffic per DOT Guidelines
  • Travel and work at multiple locations
  • Follow all safety regulations and company procedures

Required Experience

  • Valid driver's license(2+ years)
  • 1-3 years in telecom or construction (lineman experience preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA 10 or 30
  • Experienced in new builds, maintenance, overlashing, and strand work
  • Skilled in aerial cable installs and pole work (up to 40 ft)
  • CDL A license
