Picture this: you arrive at our high-tech Prysmian facility and walk the production floor, where fiber‑optic cable lines hum with precision. You review overnight run data, meet with operators and fellow engineers, and set priorities that keep quality high and throughput strong. By midday, you’re on the line dialing in equipment parameters for a new product trial; by afternoon, you’re documenting a process update and planning the next round of continuous improvement experiments.

What Your Work Looks Like
  • Dig into production metrics to spot trends and turn signals into clear improvement actions.
  • Drive process refinements that lift yield, boost efficiency, and elevate product performance.
  • Partner with production teams to fine‑tune equipment settings and maximize uptime.
  • Support new product introductions through controlled trials and method enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot issues on the floor, assist with machine setups, and coordinate upgrade activities.
  • Collaborate across Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Production to remove roadblocks.
  • Create clear SOPs, training guides, and technical documentation that stick.
  • Advance continuous improvement using Lean practices, 6S, and root‑cause analysis.
