Cabana Server

Round Barn Estate – Baroda, MI
Part-Time / Seasonal | Hourly + Tips

Position Summary

Round Barn Estate is seeking outgoing, energetic, and hospitality-focused Cabana Servers to provide exceptional service to guests enjoying our reserved outdoor cabana experiences.

Cabana Servers are responsible for creating a relaxed, welcoming, and attentive guest experience while serving food, wine, craft beer, spirits, cocktails, and other beverages in a high-volume outdoor environment. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and able to anticipate guest needs while managing multiple cabanas efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to assigned cabana guests.

  • Greet guests, explain menu and beverage offerings, and assist with selections.

  • Take and accurately enter food and beverage orders.

  • Serve Round Barn wines, craft beer, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.

  • Maintain knowledge of current food, wine, beer, spirits, and seasonal offerings.

  • Monitor cabanas throughout the guest experience and anticipate additional needs.

  • Process guest payments accurately through the POS system.

  • Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked cabana areas.

  • Assist with cabana setup, reset, and closing responsibilities.

  • Follow all responsible alcohol service, food safety, and sanitation requirements.

  • Communicate effectively with Bartenders, Food Runners, Kitchen Staff, and management.

  • Support the broader hospitality team during high-volume service and special events.

Qualifications
  • Previous serving, restaurant, tasting room, or hospitality experience preferred.

  • Strong guest service and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and cocktails is a plus.

  • Ability to manage multiple guests and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Must meet all applicable legal requirements for alcohol service.

  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and peak seasonal periods.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.

  • Ability to frequently bend, reach, carry, and lift.

  • Ability to safely carry trays, beverages, glassware, and food.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds.

  • Ability to walk frequently across outdoor grounds throughout the shift.
