A CT Scan Technician, also known as a CT Technologist, is a healthcare professional who operates computed tomography (CT) scanners to create detailed images of a patient's internal organs, bones, and tissues. They work closely with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure high-quality diagnostic images are produced for accurate assessment. Their duties include preparing patients for scans, explaining procedures, administering contrast materials when needed, and maintaining safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure. CT Scan Technicians also play a role in maintaining and troubleshooting CT equipment.
