Job description

Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and driven Project Engineer to join our Deployment Team, primarily supporting C2BMC Task Order 06, with additional support to other C2BMC Task Orders as needed. In this role, you will manage, coordinate, and oversee cross-Agile Release Train and Cross-Functional Product Team efforts associated with current and upcoming C2BMC Spiral (software and hardware) deployments. This position plays a key role across development, sustainment, and deployment activities.
What You'll Experience
  • Collaborating closely with Integrated Fielding Team leadership to plan and execute deployment activities.
  • Leading cross-functional coordination across Agile Release Trains and product teams.
  • Supporting development of Task Order IMS objective evidence and maintaining schedule integrity through baseline control processes.
  • Managing technical scope, schedule, and cost inputs for Engineering Change Proposals and other customer engineering estimate requests.
  • Assisting with cross-spiral de-confliction, resource alignment, and issue resolution.
  • Presenting program performance updates to internal and customer stakeholders.
  • Working in a dynamic environment influenced by real-world events, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

What You Bring to the Table
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience guiding cross-functional efforts in development and sustainment programs.
  • Proven experience in project planning, schedule development and maintenance, and performance tracking.
  • Background in development program execution and deployment (installation/integration) activities.
  • Knowledge of:
    • Planning and scheduling
    • Project management practices
    • Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
    • Systems engineering
    • Software development processes
    • Spiral development methodologies
  • Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a proactive, self-directed mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple parallel tasks and operate effectively with limited guidance.
