Ignite is currently seeking a driven, detail-oriented C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst to join our team at Schriever SFB, CO! In this role you will become a member of the Parsons' TEAMS NEXT support staff with a primary work assignment supporting the Missile Defense Agency's Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC). This assignment requires a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of DoD acquisition processes to include cost, schedule, and performance of contracts.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
โ€ข Utilize working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding
โ€ข Develop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement Lists
โ€ข Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration
โ€ข Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners
โ€ข Develop reports, information papers, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholder leadership
โ€ข Support and interact on a daily basis with high level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office and ability to deliver products successfully in a fast paced environment (on demand)
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
โ€ข Bachelors Degree and 20+ years of relevant experience or Master Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience
โ€ข Active Secret clearance
โ€ข Possess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines
โ€ข Experience translating technical requirements into contract requirements
โ€ข Capable of working independently or leading cross-functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the PWS
โ€ข Experience in cost, schedule and performance management for a space based program and/or a DoD
โ€ข Expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution
