Job Summary:
TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager for their Shop Ads Platform in San Jose. This role focuses on developing advertising platform products to enhance the user journey and streamline ad creation processes, specifically for Commerce and Non-Commerce performance ads.
Responsibilities:
• Own product modules related to Shop Ads reporting, advertiser onboarding, and customer experience optimization within TikTok Ads Manager.
• Improve advertisers’ end-to-end experience from first-time setup, campaign understanding, performance review, to ongoing optimization.
• Design and iterate reporting experiences that help advertisers better understand campaign performance, diagnose issues, and identify actionable next steps.
• Optimize onboarding flows, guidance, education, and in-product recommendations to help advertisers start using Shop Ads more efficiently.
• Translate advertiser pain points, business goals, and product strategy into clear product requirements, user flows, and launch plans.
• Work closely with design, engineering, data science, operations, sales, and marketing teams to deliver product improvements with quality and efficiency.
• Use customer feedback, user research, funnel data, and product metrics to identify experience gaps and prioritize iteration opportunities.
• Track key metrics such as onboarding completion, reporting usage, advertiser activation, feature adoption, and campaign optimization behavior.
• Support roadmap planning by providing structured analysis, product proposals, competitive research, and data-backed recommendations.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree or above
• Ability to continuously optimize ad delivery strategies and product capabilities, enhance user and client experiences, and rapidly iterate/trial-and-error to deliver optimal solutions.
• Strong logical thinking, excellent business acumen, and a fast learner.
• Highly sensitive to customer experience, with a proven track record of driving product growth from 1 to 10, and possessing fundamental operational thinking.
• Possess a big-picture mindset and independent thinking skills; able to flexibly adjust strategies in complex environments to ensure smooth project progression; resilient, with a positive and optimistic attitude toward work.
Preferred:
• 3+ years of experience in commercial products is highly preferred.
