Job Summary
We are seeking a Buyer to support contract manufacturing categories for the Americas. This role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing key supplier relationships, and partnering closely with business and functional stakeholders to drive value for the organization.
The Americas Contract Manufacturing Buyer will play a key role in shaping category strategy, improving supplier performance, and ensuring sourcing decisions align with business objectives.
This is an onsite position. Team members work 4 days onsite with 1 day of remote work. Relocation is not approved for this role and candidates must live within a commutable distance to Wilmington, DE.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement regional and global sourcing strategies using category management principles.
  • Apply both traditional and advanced sourcing tools and techniques to optimize procurement outcomes.
  • Lead contract negotiations and execute agreements that support business requirements.
  • Deliver cost savings and broader value creation in alignment with procurement and business targets.
  • Partner with business and functional leaders to establish, refine, and execute value-creation strategies.
  • Define key performance indicators and work with strategic suppliers to track and drive performance improvements.
  • Gather and incorporate voice-of-customer insights into category strategies and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure timely resolution of MROCP supply issues; conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Education & Experience
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Sciences, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+years of procurement experience, with demonstrated success in strategic sourcing.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing practices, supplier management, and category management.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing needs.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to ethical business practices.

Preferred:
  • CPSM and/or Project Management certification preferred.
  • Experience in contract manufacturing
