Siemens Industry is looking for a Switchboard Assembly Focus Factory Manager for our Fort Worth, Texas factory! Our growing facility will have more than one thousand employees that produce high-quality, make-to-order power distribution equipment. This position leads our Switchboard Assembly area to achieve the desired safety, quality, delivery, cost and inventory performance. The person will have Production Supervisors with more than 500 hundred hourly reports.
You will make an impact by:
Own daily production performance, safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
Ensure the focus factory meets output targets and customer requirements.
Monitor KPIs and lead corrective actions to address gaps.
Drive schedule adherence and minimize downtime, scrap, and rework.
Ensure processes produce consistent, defectfree output.
Partner with Quality to resolve issues, reduce customer complaints, and improve firstpass yield.
Implement standard work and process controls.
Drive a culture of problem-solving using tools like root-cause analysis, and PDCA.
Manage the value stream budget (labor, materials, overhead).
Improve cost performance through productivity gains, waste reduction, and material efficiency.
Translate site strategy into actionable plans for the focus factory.
