Bark Barbecue has opened its second 8,700 sq. ft. flagship destination in the heart of North Brooklyn (East Williamsburg/Bushwick) and is seeking hospitality professionals to join our team.

This is an opportunity to be part of an industry-leading buildout from the ground up, helping shape the systems, culture, and standards of a high-volume restaurant focused on exceptional barbecue, hospitality, and craftsmanship.

Position: Butcher

Bark is hiring for two distinct roles within our barbecue program. Candidates may apply for either position based on their interests and experience.

Guest-Facing Butcher (Tipped Position) $11.35 plus tips

Guest-Facing Butchers interact directly with guests while slicing and portioning smoked meats, maintaining product presentation, answering menu questions, supporting cashier operations, and helping deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Production Butcher (Back-of-House Position) $20-$25 depending on experience

Production Butchers work alongside our Pitmaster and kitchen team, focusing on trimming, seasoning, portioning, and preparing meats for daily barbecue production while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, and organization.

Ideal Candidates

• Previous butcher, meat cutting, kitchen, barbecue, or food production experience preferred
• Strong knife skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
