Job description

The Butcher’s Table is one of Seattle’s most swanky restaurants, providing an unparalleled culinary experience with an innovative menu featuring our own Mishima Reserve Wagyu beef. Our restaurant features a raw bar, an onsite butcher shop, and an energetic bar scene.

We are looking for a full-time Line Cook! Competitive pay and benefits. Starting hourly rate of $22 per hour plus tips.

 Requirements:

• 1+ years’ experience in high-volume, fast-paced restaurant as a line cook

• Follow proper procedures for food safety

• Knowledge of food storage and food safety requirements

Responsibilities:

• Prepare all menu items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner

• Follow recipes, controls, portion, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant

• Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of the products served

• Perform other related duties as assigned by the restaurant manager

• Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes

• Tasked with tracking and reporting any food waste

• Handle, store, and rotate all products and ingredients properly

• Be ready to prepare dishes for costumers with food allergies or intolerance
