Position Description and Purpose:

Roskam Foods produces and packages food products with the goal of consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations for quality, safety, and wholesomeness.
  • Serves as the financial lead supporting the Plant management and the finance organization
  • Forecasting - Short term, long term and budgetary
  • Business Unit P&L- Ownership in driving the results by monitoring the operational drivers, proactively communicating opportunities and risks, preparing analysis and presenting the results
  • Analysis and explanation of cost drivers, which will include working closely with the operations team to review, identify and advise on opportunities for avoiding costs and/or adding value
  • Cost Accounting - Ensure integrity of standard cost data and accurate accounting for Business Unit results
  • Pricing - Maintain a deep understanding of customer contracts, monitoring for compliance with the contracts, preparing effective pricing analyses and presenting to executive management
  • Contribute to the design and maintenance of effective Pricing Models
  • Preparation of ROIC and other financial analyses for capital investments and monitoring and communicating the actual ROIC realized
  • Continuous Improvement and Business Processes - Work with broader RBC team to identify opportunities for business process or data system improvements in a continuous effort to improve accuracy, efficiency, speed, and ease-of-use

Required and Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • 5+ years of cost accounting and/or financial analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong in Microsoft Office applications (particularly MS Excel)
  • Solid logic and reasoning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work autonomously yet in strong collaboration with team
  • PowerBi or One Stream experience is a plus
  • Public accounting experience is a plus
