Job Overview

The Director-Network Transformation Program Management is responsible for leading the strategic planning, governance, prioritization, and execution of large-scale network transformation initiatives focused on cost optimization, modernization, and operational efficiency. This leader serves as the central point of coordination across multiple transformation programs, ensuring alignment of priorities, accelerated execution, effective resource management, and achievement of financial and operational objectives.

The role will oversee a portfolio of high-impact initiatives including legacy network shut-down, network interface optimization, tail optimization, contract enforcement, supplier certification, and other network cost transformation programs. The Director will work closely with Network, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Product, IT, and external suppliers to drive measurable business outcomes and deliver sustainable cost savings.

What you’ll do
  • Lead the strategic planning, governance, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale network transformation programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational priorities.
  • Oversee a portfolio of modernization and cost optimization initiatives, including legacy network shutdown, network interface optimization, tail optimization, supplier certification, contract enforcement, and related transformation efforts.
  • Direct cross‑functional teams, project managers, and technical stakeholders to accelerate execution, manage dependencies, and achieve targeted financial and operational outcomes.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, resource plans, performance metrics, dashboards, and executive governance processes to ensure visibility and accountability.
  • Partner with internal organizations and external suppliers to optimize network performance, improve operational efficiency, and drive sustainable cost savings.
  • Use analytics, automation, AI, and Agentic AI capabilities to identify opportunities, resolve issues faster, improve decision‑making, and support continuous transformation.
What you’ll need
  • Enterprise program and portfolio management experience across complex network or telecommunications environments.
  • Expertise in transformation planning, prioritization, governance frameworks, and large-scale implementation execution.
  • Strong financial management skills, including business case development, budget oversight, cost reduction initiatives, and benefits realization tracking.
  • Experience developing executive‑level dashboards, presentations, reporting metrics, and governance processes.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure, operations, provisioning, ordering, inventory, modernization, and transformation processes.
  • Ability to manage vendor performance, supplier relationships, contract compliance, and cross‑functional resource allocation.
What you’ll bring
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Required: 10+ years of experience in program management, project management, network operations, telecommunications, engineering leadership, or business transformation roles.
  • Required: Proven success leading enterprise‑scale transformation initiatives and influencing senior leaders across diverse organizations.
  • Preferred: PMP, PgMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Preferred: Telecommunications or network infrastructure experience, including large-scale modernization and cost optimization programs.
  • Preferred: Experience managing supplier relationships, vendor performance programs, and complex cross‑functional teams.
