A Day in the LifeThe Risk and Transformation Team sits within the Global Facilities & Security Organization and operates at the intersection of business strategy, operations, and enterprise transformation, serving as catalysts for Medtronic's continued evolution in a dynamic environment.
About the Position
In this high-impact role, the you will drive strategic projects with a strong focus on analytics, process improvement, and risk. Responsibilities include translating complex business needs into actionable solutions, managing initiatives from idea to execution, and monitoring multi-facet projects across diverse teams and areas of impact within the organization.
Projects range from leading digital transformation efforts that streamline facilities and supply chain operations to shaping Medtronic's global footprint in support of evolving business needs. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence how Global Facilities and Security track, measure, evaluate, and communicate critical risks across our organization, facilities, and global supply chain.
This role will be onsite 4+ days/week and can be based at any US Medtronic location.
  • Lead and manage end-to-end transformation projects (with an emphasis on technology and analytics), ensuring solutions align with strategic business goals

  • Manage and mentor project teams and staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment

  • Translate business requirements into clear technical processes and deliverables, and help technical teams understand business priorities

  • Develop high-quality executive-level presentations and storytelling that clearly communicate strategic insights, analytics findings, and business recommendations

  • Leverage advanced analytics, automation, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate, Snowflake) to extract actionable insights from complex datasets and inform key decisions

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of data-driven and technology-enabled projects, ensuring measurable business impact

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and digital innovation

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams, ensuring effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and alignment throughout transformation initiatives

  • Minimal travel as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience OR Advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Proven experience leading transformation initiatives with a strong analytics and technology focus, including translating business needs into actionable solutions and effectively communicating insights to diverse audiences

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on expertise working with large, complex data sets and proficiency in analytics and automation platforms (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate, Snowflake, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving transformation and analytics initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)

  • Hands-on experience with advanced analytics, AI / ML tools, and data science

Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$133,600.00 - $200,400.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
