Job Description:
  • IT Manager

    Summary

    The position of IT Manager is responsible for the overall management of IT infrastructure and services at the different offices/locations of the project.

    Responsibilities

    In close coordination with corporate IT teams, the IT Manager will have the following responsibilities to be implemented according to Ferrovials IT procedures and cybersecurity framework:

    Desktop Support

  • Supervise and coordinate the provision of technical resources in onboarding processes including equipment delivery and installation.
  • Obtain, maintain, and track IT assets inventory (for example: desktops/laptops, other equipment, cellphones).
  • Provide onsite support to those cases that need physical intervention in close coordination with the service desk.
  • Prepare old equipment for safe disposal.
  • Mobile services billing tracking.
  • Agile escalation of massive / critical events affecting the project.
  • Provide direct support to tickets at client offices (DOTs offices).
  • Local infrastructure

  • Supervise and coordinate office cabling activities, patching and server room resources as well as the proper environmental conditions for the correct operation of all the equipment.
  • Manage local agreements for printers, as well as their connection and integration to corporate network.
  • Give support to corporate projects affecting equipment relocation and racking.
  • Manage local solution for security access to the office and cameras.
  • Corporate Services

  • Give support to corporate projects related to comms and network including user testing.
  • Agile escalation of massive / critical events affecting the project.
  • Main point of contact for incident solving, power supply shortages and onsite support.
  • Give support to corporate projects related to software provision.
  • Local Solutions

  • In close coordination with corporate IT teams, develop, implement, manage, and administer local IT solutions in support of production needs.
  • Monitor and management of access to local systems.
  • Give support to IT Audits.
  • Minimum Requirements

  • Required to have at least 3-5 years of experience in technical support.
  • Associate degree or higher in IT (BS is preferred).
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ and Microsoft certifications preferred.
  • Self-starter, proactive, with ability to multi-talk in a fast-paced environment.
  • Service oriented and good social skills.
  • Ability to transmit directions and training for users.
