Senior IT Project Manager – Supply Chain Transformation

Location

Portland, OR - Hybrid role (3 days onsite/week)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead high-impact Supply Chain Transformation initiatives across procurement, inventory management, logistics, supplier management, and enterprise technology modernization. In this role, you will guide large-scale programs that optimize business operations, improve end-to-end supply chain processes, and connect business objectives with practical, scalable technology solutions. This is an opportunity for a seasoned project leader with deep IT project management experience, strong Agile delivery expertise, and hands‑on Azure DevOps experience to drive transformation in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead complex Supply Chain Transformation programs and strategic technology initiatives from planning through delivery.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, and overall delivery performance.
  • Drive Agile project execution, sprint planning, backlog management, release coordination, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Use Azure DevOps to manage backlogs, sprint plans, delivery tracking, reporting, and release visibility.
  • Partner closely with business, technology, vendor, operations, and executive stakeholders to align priorities and outcomes.
  • Oversee enterprise application implementations, system integrations, testing, deployment activities, and post-launch stabilization.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and mitigation plans with clear ownership and follow-through.
  • Lead executive-level communications, status reporting, governance forums, and project updates.
  • Ensure technology solutions support business goals across procurement, logistics, inventory, warehouse, and supplier management processes.
  • Support organizational change management, stakeholder readiness, training coordination, and user adoption.
  • Coordinate vendor deliverables, resource planning, financial tracking, and cross-functional project execution.
  • Guide SIT, UAT, deployment planning, defect triage, and release readiness activities.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of IT Project Management experience leading enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Mandatory experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Mandatory hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps, including backlog, sprint, release, and reporting management.
  • Experience managing Supply Chain Transformation programs or enterprise application implementation projects.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, delivery planning, risk management, financial management, and resource coordination.
  • Experience working with business and technology teams to translate strategic objectives into actionable delivery plans.
  • Proven ability to manage executive stakeholders, vendor partners, distributed teams, and competing priorities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting system integration, SIT, UAT, deployment, and production readiness activities.
  • Experience with procurement, inventory management, logistics, warehouse management, or supplier management initiatives preferred.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or similar Supply Chain platforms preferred.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or similar certification preferred.
Salary

The base salary for this position is $92,250 to $120,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
