Manager, Strategic Sales Support
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for managing the MidMarket Sales Support team that works with assigned sales team members and other internal partners to provide comprehensive communication and support to existing client base, prospects, referrals, and Centers of Influence (COIs). Manages and facilitates communications for new prospects and clients, referrals, and sales personnel. Must help their assigned team maintain knowledge of Insperity's product and service offerings as well as internal departments and processes to provide guidance and support to assigned sales team members.
Responsibilities
  • Manages MidMarket Sales Support processes, ensuring all activities and paperwork are accurate and completed within established time frames and in accordance with established policies.
  • Oversees assigned MidMarket Sales Support team with resolving prospect and client complaints to while maintaining appropriate company policies and procedures.
  • Produces sales reports as needed by sales management and works with sales management to ensure report accuracy.
  • Interacts with internal Departments about proactive needs for bid submission and approval as well as CAM(s).
  • Tests and evaluates technology enhancements prior to deployment.
  • Manages support functions for sales team members related to all applicable client changes that affect sales documentation and business operations.
  • Manages volume and distribution of work and develops a strategic plan of action as needed to ensure support for sales team members is provided and high service levels are maintained.
  • Interacts with internal constituents and attends training sessions to stay current on Insperity products and services, sales processes, benefits, data requirements, and guidelines for submission/approvals.
  • Communicates important information, policies, and procedures to Sales Support Team.
  • Maintains a professional office environment and interacts with prospects and clients in a professional manner at all times.
  • Works with the Help Desk for any technology issues (computer/phone/printer). Provides additional support to MidMarket Sales Support team for computer training/assistance with technology programs, as needed.
  • Handles a variety of sensitive situations and confidential material with appropriate discretion, and problem-solves on own initiative.
  • Ensures team establishes and implements effective requirements practices and looks for opportunities for continuous improvement of the process. Assists with the development of the organization's requirement policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Provides employees with timely, candid, and constructive feedback, endeavors to develop employees to their full potential, recognizes and rewards employees for accomplishments, and prepares and conducts annual performance reviews.
  • Develops skill level of the team through demonstrated leadership, mentoring, development, planning, and performance management.
  • Attracts and selects future leaders for Insperity.
  • Coaches, mentors, and leads employees with a clear line of sight to business strategy.
  • Upholds Insperity's cultural goals and demonstrates the values and mission of Insperity throughout the department and the Company.
  • Ensures established performance standards are met.
  • Works to improve client experience and satisfaction for both prospective and existing clients.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Seven to nine years of experience in sales administration or a related field is required.
  • Knowledge of Insperity sales processes is preferred. Experience interacting directly with prospects and clients in a professional manner is required

Travels: Yes, up to 5% of time.
