Position Description
Are you a skilled healthcare leader with a passion for both clinical excellence and operational management? We are seeking a Health Services Administrator/RN to oversee and advance the healthcare services at our secure residential site. In this role, you'll combine your nursing expertise with strong leadership skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective care.
What You'll Do
  • Provide leadership and administrative supervision of medical, nursing, and psychiatric services at the site.
  • Develop and manage departmental policies, procedures, and budgets to improve efficiency and quality of care.
  • Direct and support healthcare employees and contract providers, including hiring, training, performance management, and staffing oversight.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, healthcare standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with site leadership, security, and clinical teams to meet the needs of persons served.
  • Serve as a liaison between the site, contracting agencies, and compliance bodies.
  • Use the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide and oversee comprehensive healthcare.
  • Monitor operational issues such as staffing, overtime, medical file audits, and pharmacy compliance, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Analyze data and recommend strategies to improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
  • Maintain external relationships with hospitals, medical providers, and ancillary healthcare services.

What We're Looking For
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or a health-related field (required).
  • Experience:
    • Healthcare management or supervisory experience (required).
    • Experience in healthcare planning, budgeting, and compliance (preferred).
    • Background in secure residential sites and telehealth/remote diagnosis (preferred).
  • Licenses/Certifications:
    • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of employment or a multi-state compact license (required).
