Job Summary:
Allen Control Systems (ACS) is a cutting-edge defense startup focused on developing advanced technologies for autonomous systems. The Engineering Project Coordinator will support the SVP of Engineering by coordinating project schedules, tracking progress, and implementing scalable project management processes across the engineering organization.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with the SVP of Engineering and engineering leads to coordinate engineering project schedules and priorities.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, Gantt charts, and milestone tracking across multiple engineering initiatives.
• Track deliverables, dependencies, and risks across engineering teams.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify schedule risks or blockers.
• Manage and maintain project workflows within Agile project management tools (Jira, Shortcut, or similar).
• Assist teams with sprint planning, backlog organization, and roadmap tracking.
• Support engineering leadership with capacity planning and resource tracking.
• Design and implement scalable processes for a growing engineering organization.
• Standardize project tracking, reporting, and documentation practices.
• Improve cross-team coordination and communication through structured workflows.
• Facilitate coordination between engineering leads and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ensure transparency in timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Provide organizational and operational support to the SVP of Engineering.
• Assist with planning and coordination of engineering initiatives and strategic projects.

Qualifications:
Required:
