Chemours is seeking an IT Logistics & Transportation Systems Analyst to join our growing team. This hybrid position will be available at the Wilmington Office location in Wilmington, DE.

The IT Logistics & Transportation Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing supply chain and transportation-related information systems, with a primary focus on SAP and integrated Transportation Management (TM) platforms. This role serves as a key liaison between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring supply chain and logistics processes are stable, efficient, and aligned with operational and strategic goals. While this role emphasizes functional expertise it requires a sound understanding of the underlying technical details and requires at least 5 years of relevant experience.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • SAP Supply Chain & Logistics IT Support

  • Provide functional and technical support for SAP, focusing on logistics and supply chain modules such as SD, MM, LE, and WM.

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues impacting order fulfillment, shipping, freight settlement, and inventory flows.

  • Support configuration, enhancements, and custom developments in SAP, collaborating with ABAP developers as needed.

  • Participate in system upgrades, integrations, and decommissioning planning related to legacy SAP environments.

  • Transportation Management Systems

    • Serve as the primary IT subject matter expert for Transportation Management platforms, such as, E2OPEN TMS4S, SAP TM (standalone or embedded) and other shipper or 3PL-integrated TM solutions.

    • Support end-to-end transportation processes including load planning, carrier selection, tendering, tracking, freight audit, and settlement.

    • Manage and support integrations between SAP and TM systems using IDocs, EDI, APIs, or middleware.

    • Partner with logistics, transportation, and freight operations teams to translate business needs into system solutions.

  • Business Analysis & Process Optimization

    • Gather and document business requirements, create functional specifications, and recommend system-driven improvements.

    • Analyze supply chain and transportation processes to identify opportunities for cost reduction, service improvement, and automation.

    • Support reporting and analytics related to freight spend, carrier performance, and transportation KPIs.

    • Ensure system solutions comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and data governance standards.

  • Collaboration & Support

    • Act as a trusted advisor to Supply Chain, Logistics, and Transportation business partners (internal/external).

    • Coordinate with external vendors, 3PLs, and carriers on system connectivity and issue resolution.

    • Provide production functional support, including incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    • Support testing activities such as unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

The following is required for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years experience supporting SAP, particularly in logistics and supply chain modules.

  • Strong experience with Transportation Management platforms and transportation business processes.

  • Knowledge of transportation execution, freight rating, carrier management, and logistics compliance.

  • Experience with system integrations (SAP IDocs, EDI transactions, XML/API-based interfaces).

  • Experience in project management.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

The following is preferred for this role:

  • Experience supporting legacy-to-modern ERP or TM transformation initiatives.

  • Familiarity with EDI standards (e.g., 204, 210, 214, 940/945).

  • Understanding of warehouse, distribution, and global trade processes.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or consumer goods environment.

  • SAP configuration experience or functional certification is a plus.
