We are looking for a Business Process Improvement Specialist to join our team! The Business Process Improvement Specialist is responsible for identifying opportunities across the organization to improve efficiency, streamline operations, and enhance the employee and customer experience through artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and continuous process improvement.
This role partners with departments across the company including Construction, Sales, Design, Accounting, Marketing, Purchasing, Warranty, and Executive Leadership to evaluate existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, recommend innovative solutions, and implement AI-powered tools and process improvements that drive operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is naturally curious, analytical, technology-minded, and passionate about leveraging emerging technologies to solve business challenges and improve the way work gets done. Responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to the following:
Process Improvement
  • Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency.
  • Map current workflows and develop streamlined future-state processes.
  • Identify repetitive or manual tasks that can be simplified through automation.
  • Recommend operational improvements that increase productivity while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness and return on investment of process improvement initiatives.
Artificial Intelligence amp; Automation
  • Research emerging AI technologies and evaluate practical applications across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage generative AI, workflow automation, and intelligent business solutions.
  • Develop AI-powered tools, templates, prompts, workflows, and automations to improve daily operations.
  • Evaluate software platforms and technology solutions that align with organizational goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Meet regularly with department leaders to understand operational challenges and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with teams across the organization to redesign and optimize business processes.
  • Prioritize projects based on organizational impact and strategic value.
  • Serve as an internal resource on AI, automation, and process improvement best practices.
Project Implementation
  • Lead process improvement and AI implementation projects from concept through deployment.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors as needed.

Data amp; Analytics

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in process improvement, operations, business analysis, project management, or technology implementation.
  • Experience implementing automation or AI solutions within a business environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working independently.
Preferred
  • Experience with AI platforms such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with workflow automation platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate, Zapier, Make, UiPath, or comparable tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or HCM platforms (Acumatica, Paycor, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other reporting and visualization tools.
  • Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile, or other continuous improvement certifications.
