Summary

SENS is looking for a Business Process Improvement Analyst to document (as-is and to-be states), analyze, and improve business processes and data flows to support internal systems development. This role will report to the Director of Business Process Excellence and work closely with stakeholders across sales, operations, HR, IT, and engineering to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.

Responsibilities

Process Documentation and Analysis

  • Map and document current-state business processes.
  • Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop future-state process designs.


Data Flow and Systems Mapping

  • Document data flows across systems, integrations, and teams.
  • Define data inputs, outputs, transformations, and ownership.
  • Create diagrams such as flowcharts, swim lane diagrams, and data models.
  • Requirements and Development Support
  • Strong capability to translate business processes into functional requirements and user stories.
  • Partner with business unit designees to clarify requirements and edge cases.
  • Support system design, testing, and implementation.


Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with business users to gather and document requirements and validate workflows.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to produce the artifacts from user requirements and workflows.
  • Act as a bridge between non-technical and technical teams.


Continuous Improvement

  • Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Support change management and documentation updates.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in business analysis or systems analysis.
  • 3+ years of experience in process improvement and optimization.
  • Experience documenting processes using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) or a similar method.
  • Strong understanding of data flows and system interactions.
  • Experience working with engineering, product, sales, operations, and other business unit function teams.
  • Strong experience in process mapping in Visio and visually depicting steps and responsibilities in swim lanes in a current method and tool.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ERPs, APIs, integrations, and databases.
  • Background in manufacturing operations, engineering development, sales, ordering and order management, or IT systems process optimization.


Location: Longmont, CO

Base Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 is the projected annual base salary range and will be determined based on the candidate’s overall qualifications and experience.


Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
