What You’ll Do

You will work with the PM in the planning, directing, and coordination of activities related to the replacement of a large enterprise scale technology project, ensuring the business requirements of the project are captured leading to a successful transition.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.
  • Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states.
  • Propose and design technical and process solutions that meet business needs and objectives.
  • Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts.
  • Convert roadmap features into smaller user stories.
  • Work with IT and other departments to implement solutions and ensure they align with business goals.
  • Serve as liaison between various business departments and groups.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to the project manager for updates to stakeholders and executives.
  • Participate in testing and validating new systems and processes to meet business requirements.
  • Assist with project management as needed.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience or in a related role.
  • 5+ years of knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • 5+ years of strong experience leading, facilitating, and motivating teams for medium to large scale IT projects.
  • 5+ years of strong understanding and experience working with stakeholders in achieving their goals.
  • 5+ years of strong background in facilitating and leading requirement gathering sessions.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the creation of user stories.
  • 5+ years of strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), preferably in a Hybrid Agile environment.
  • 5+ years of experience managing projects to successful conclusion.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced troubleshooting, critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop productive working relationships, communicate clearly, and collaborate with people across the organization.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks beyond the routine, with a high degree of independence, intuition, and initiative.
  • Ability to maintain composure and control when things do not proceed as planned.
  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) configuration, analysis, and troubleshooting of functional and basic technical components.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior healthcare industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare enterprise systems.
  • Prior State of Indiana or public sector project experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or Visio in a Hybrid Agile setting.
