Senior Process Associate
In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for insurance agents, agencies, broker-dealers, and uplines supporting life insurance and annuity business. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service through inbound call handling, producer support, licensing and commission assistance, Agent Portal support, and contract issuance requirement management. The associate works closely with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of producer inquiries, maintenance of producer records, and compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
Location for this position is Des Moines.
Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound calls and emails from insurance agents, agencies, broker-dealers, and field marketing organizations.
  • Provide guidance regarding licensing, appointment, contracting, and commission-related inquiries.
  • Assist agents with Agent Portal access, navigation, password resets, and troubleshooting.
  • Explain contract issuance requirements and assist agents in obtaining outstanding documentation.
  • Communicate status updates on pending contracts, licensing requests, and commission inquiries.
  • Serve as a liaison between agents and internal operational departments.
  • Review and advise on producer licensing and appointment requests.
  • Validate licensing and appointment requirements prior to contract issuance.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding licensing deficiencies.
  • Process agent profile updates, including address changes, hierarchy changes, and demographic updates as needed.
  • Maintain accurate producer records within producer management systems.
Qualifications:
Basic
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • At least 1 years of experience in the job description below.
Preferred
  • Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Proven track record and experience working in a fast-paced team environment with ability to meet high productivity levels and tight deadlines for service delivery.
  • Excellent service orientation and work ethic
  • Must be committed to protecting client and producer confidential information.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, internal and client facing.
  • Strong analytical, organization and communication skills (written and verbal).
