What You'll Do

Weโ€™re looking for a Sr. Business Operations Analyst to join our Principal Custody Solutions team. In this role, youโ€™llโ€ฆ

  • represent Principal Custody Solutions in industry forums and stakeholder groups, evaluate emerging industry and regulatory developments, provide business impact analysis and recommendations, and develop materials to support stakeholder engagement and ongoing communications,
  • lead analysis and business readiness efforts for strategic industry initiatives, including DTCC modernization efforts, 23x5 trading, tokenization, and digital assets, and provide recommendations to support organizational decision-making and implementation,
  • act as a liaison between business partners and technical areas to implement business, marketing and technical infrastructure solutions to meet immediate and strategic needs,
  • participate in and contribute to strategic discussions and recommend efficient solutions, and
  • lead large business unit, cross business unit including analysis, business/functional requirements and testing.

Who You Are
  • College degree or 4+ years of work experience
  • 6+ years of related experience (e.g., financial securities work experience in trust & custody operations)
  • Experience leading large scale projects across workgroups
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
  • Must possess excellent leadership, strong analytical, problem-solving, and big-picture/conceptual skills
  • Must have the ability to work with people at all levels and influence others without formal authority
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in evolving and ambiguous environments, partnering with internal stakeholders and industry peers to shape approaches and establish frameworks for responding to emerging trends.
  • Must be able to build and maintain relationships and facilitate collaboration and communication
  • Demonstrate the ability to embrace and understand the change process and effectively guides others through change
  • Strong technical, financial services product and business processes acuity
  • Experience with industry tools and products such as SEI T3000, DTCC PBS, BNYM Nexen, SWIFT, Alternative Assets and Canoe a plus

Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$89300 - $149000 / year
Salary Details

The following salary ranges reflect market-specific compensation for this position across multiple job levels. Candidates will be evaluated to determine the appropriate job level based on their skills and experience.ย 

  • Sr. Business Operations Analyst: $89,300 - $121,000 / year
  • Business Operations Strategist: $110,200 - $149,000 / year

Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

This role will be based out of our Minneapolis or Des Moines office. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement (at least 3 office days in a typical workweek).
