Job description

We are seeking a results-driven Operations Project Manager to support the delivery of strategic and operational initiatives across the organization. This role will work closely with Operations leadership, as well as Business Intelligence and Process Analysts, to implement solutions that improve business performance and project delivery.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the execution and implementation of initiatives once solutions are defined, ensuring projects are delivered effectively across cross-functional teams. These initiatives may span shared services functions such as HR, IT, Marketing, Finance, and Legal, as well as various disciplines across the business.
This role requires strong coordination, organization, and execution skills, with the ability to drive progress across diverse stakeholders in a complex organizational environment.
Responsibilities:
Project Execution & Delivery:
Manage the end-to-end execution of operational initiatives at the corporate level.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation.
Coordinate resources and activities across multiple departments and business units.
Track project progress, identify risks, and proactively address issues to keep initiatives on schedule.
Ensure alignment between defined solutions and implementation outcomes.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Work across shared services teams (HR, IT, Marketing, Finance, Legal) and disciplines to execute initiatives.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure clarity on objectives, timelines, and responsibilities.
Align priorities and manage dependencies across multiple teams.
Support leadership in maintaining visibility of project status and outcomes.
Implementation of Change:
Lead the implementation phase of initiatives, ensuring smooth transition from solution design to execution.
Translate defined solutions into actionable project plans and tasks.
Coordinate rollout activities and ensure deliverables are completed as intended.
Monitor adoption at a project level and ensure implementation aligns with expected outcomes.
Collaboration with Operations Team:
Partner with Business Intelligence and Process Analysts to implement data and process-driven improvements with a focus on efficiency.
Support performance metrics and reporting enhancements, process standardization and optimization, and automation and workflow improvements.
Project Governance & Reporting:
Maintain clear and consistent project documentation and status reporting.
Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, risks, and key milestones.
Ensure projects adhere to internal standards, processes, and governance expectations.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
  • 4-7 years of experience in project management, preferably in an internal or operations-focused environment within the AEC space.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience developing and managing project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Ability to drive execution and maintain momentum across teams without direct authority.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate in a structured yet evolving environment.
  • Exposure to data-driven or analytics-driven projects.
  • Experience working in agile project management environments.

Preferred:
  • Experience working with shared services functions (HR, IT, Finance, etc.).
  • Familiarity with process improvement or operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Experience working in project-based organizations (engineering, consulting, construction, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • PMP or similar certification.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
