The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established, medium-sized third-party logistics (3PL) provider in Brampton with a caring, people-first culture and strong opportunities for professional growth. They are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to lead warehouse operations supporting pharmaceutical and industrial chemical distribution. Reporting to senior leadership, this role will oversee day-to-day operations, team performance, inventory integrity, safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.


Operations Manager – Pharmaceutical & Industrial Chemical Distribution

Brampton, Ontario | Full-Time, On-Site |$100,000–$150,000 annually


What You’ll Do

·Lead daily operations across warehouse and distribution activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfilment and shipping.

·Coach and develop supervisors and warehouse teams while fostering an accountable, collaborative and safety-focused culture.

·Drive productivity, service levels, labour efficiency and continuous improvement through KPIs, root-cause analysis and corrective action.

·Maintain inventory accuracy, product traceability and appropriate storage, segregation and handling practices.

·Oversee quality assurance processes for pharmaceutical and industrial chemical products, including SOP compliance, audits, deviations, non-conformances, CAPA, product holds, complaints, returns and recall readiness.

·Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety, quality, customer and regulatory requirements, working closely with Quality, Human Resources, customers, carriers and vendors.

·Support operating budgets, control costs and provide clear performance reporting to senior leadership.

What You Bring

·5–7+ years of progressive warehouse or distribution management experience, ideally within a multi-site or 3PL environment.

·Direct quality assurance experience in pharmaceutical and/or industrial chemical warehousing, distribution or logistics.

·Strong knowledge of regulated product handling, documentation, traceability, SOPs, audits, CAPA and inventory controls.

·Proven leadership of warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment.

·Working knowledge of WMS/ERP systems, Microsoft Office and KPI-based performance management.

·Knowledge of Ontario workplace health and safety requirements; Lean, Six Sigma or continuous-improvement experience is an asset.

·Postsecondary education in supply chain, logistics, business or a related field is preferred, along with a valid driver’s licence.
