As part of our growing team, we are looking for an experienced Field Operations Assistant to oversee daily business operations, ensure quality service delivery, and drive efficiency through lean management practices.
Job Summary
The Field Operations Assistant will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the business, including staff management, client satisfaction, quality control, and process improvement. THIS IS A HANDS ON POSITION, AND THE INDIVIDUAL IN THIS ROLE WILL ALSO BE EXPECTED TO PROVIDE COVERAGE AND PERFORM CLEANING TASKS This role ensures the smooth execution of cleaning services, maintains strong relationships with clients, supports and develops quality teammates, and drives continuous improvement in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
  • Service Operations Management: Oversee daily commercial cleaning and specialty service operations, ensuring schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Team Leadership & Training: Manage and mentor cleaning staff, supervisors, and subcontractors; provide training on best practices, safety protocols, and customer service.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct site inspections, implement cleaning checklists, and address service issues to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, address concerns promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Scheduling & Workforce Management: Optimize employee schedules to maximize efficiency and coverage for cleaning services.
  • Inventory & Equipment Management: Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies, ProTeam backpack vacuums, and other equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Process Improvement: Apply lean management principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance service delivery.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all employees follow OSHA standards and company safety policies.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Track KPIs related to operations, employee performance, and customer satisfaction, providing regular reports to leadership.

Qualifications
  • Experience: 3+ years in an operations or management role, preferably in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or facilities management.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, train staff, and enforce performance standards.
  • Process-Driven: Experience in workflow optimization, scheduling, and quality control processes.
  • Customer-Focused: Strong client relationship management and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment, including ProTeam backpack vacuums, and industry-standard cleaning techniques.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using scheduling software, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed for inspections or demonstrations.
