WHO YOU ARE:

Reporting to the Operational Excellence Manager, the Operations Communications Coordinator plays a key role in supporting operational communication and execution across Ardene's retail stores. This role is responsible for creating engaging communications, coordinating operational initiatives, maintaining key resources, and supporting cross-functional projects that help stores operate efficiently and consistently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and coordinate all store operations communications, ensuring messaging is clear, engaging, and aligned across the business.
  • Prepare, translate, and distribute weekly store communications, newsletters, operational updates, and company announcements.
  • Produce Ardene's weekly Store Operations newsletter, incorporating key updates including promotions, operational priorities, OMNI KPIs, loyalty initiatives, price changes, and upcoming events.
  • Support operational projects by coordinating timelines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring initiatives are executed successfully.
  • Build and manage digital surveys and operational tools using platforms such as GoCanvas and SurveyMonkey to collect feedback, operational information, and compliance data.
  • Maintain operational documentation and resources across internal platforms including OneDrive, Teams, and the Document Centre.
  • Manage the Store Operations inbox and respond to inquiries from stores, providing timely support and direction.
  • Coordinate operational planning for holidays and other key business events.
  • Compile and organize store expense reports while supporting financial administration and year-end operational processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, and Loss Prevention to support operational initiatives and communication.
  • Conduct occasional store visits to gather feedback, evaluate operational execution, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Assist with additional operational projects and administrative tasks as required.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • 1-2 years of experience in retail operations, communications, project coordination, or a similar role.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Communications, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Fully bilingual in English and French (written and spoken).
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create engaging, professional communications for diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong computer skills.
  • Experience with GoCanvas, SurveyMonkey, or similar survey and workflow platforms is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work in-office five days per week.
