Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Business Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Business Office. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service to our residents and their families.
The Business Office Manager is responsible for managing resident accounts, billing operations, collections, admissions financial processing, and business office staff while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and facility policies.
What You'll Do
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Business Office.
  • Manage resident billing, private pay accounts, insurance billing, and collections.
  • Ensure timely processing of admissions, discharges, and financial documentation.
  • Work closely with residents and families to explain billing, insurance, and payment options.
  • Coordinate with Medicare, Medicaid, managed care organizations, and private insurance carriers.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate business office records.
  • Supervise, train, and support Business Office staff.
  • Collaborate with the Admissions, Social Services, Nursing, and Administration teams to ensure a seamless resident experience.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Previous Business Office Manager experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private insurance billing.
  • Experience with accounts receivable, collections, and resident trust accounts.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare billing software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
