Job description

We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator - SAP Business Objects to join our team in Plano, Texas.
Role Overview
We are seeking an Intermediate-Level Systems Administrator with strong SAP BusinessObjects (BO) administration and infrastructure experience to support the Project Sunshine initiative. This role is responsible for maintaining the stability, performance, and availability of BI platforms and supporting infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer SAP BusinessObjects BI platform environments (Development, QA, Production)
Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching of BO components
Manage user access, roles, and security settings
Monitor platform health including CMS, Web Intelligence, and scheduling services
Troubleshoot system issues and optimize report performance
Systems & Infrastructure Administration
Manage Windows/Linux server environments supporting BI platforms
Support application servers, web servers, and middleware components
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability
Perform capacity planning and system patching
Support disaster recovery and failover planning
Production Support & Incident Management
Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP BO and infrastructure issues
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Monitor job schedules and ensure timely execution
Track incidents using ITSM tools in alignment with SLAs
Performance Optimization & Monitoring Proactively monitor system health to prevent performance issues
Optimize BO performance and system resource usage
Recommend improvements to infrastructure scalability
Security & Compliance
Implement system security and access controls
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
Support audit requirements through documentation and logging
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with data engineers and BI developers
Support data platform modernization initiatives
Enhance monitoring and automation practices
Maintain documentation and runbooks
Required Qualifications
5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or BO Administrator
Experience with SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform (4.x preferred)
Experience supporting enterprise production environments
Technical Skills
SAP BO components (CMS, Web Intelligence, CMC, Scheduling)
Windows and/or Linux server administration
Application/web servers (Tomcat, IIS)
System monitoring and performance tuning
Networking fundamentals
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP HANA or SAP data platforms
Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
Experience with ETL tools or data integration workflows
Healthcare industry experience

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is 67.96 to 88.11 W2. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
