Location: Libertyville, IL

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 (Depending on skills and experience) 

Position Summary:The Junior Business Intelligence Analyst (Junior BIA) supports the availability, accuracy, and reliability of enterprise reporting and data integration solutions.  This position assists in developing and supporting the SAP Business Objects (BO) reporting environment, monitoring SAP Data Services jobs, and performs routine data quality checks. The Junior BIA contributes to delivering timely reporting, maintaining data integrity, and supporting daily business operations.  This role also works with ETL development tasks and data warehouse design.


  • Design, develop, and maintain reports using SAP Business Objects tools including Web Intelligence and Universe Design Tool
  • Monitor report schedules and troubleshoot basic failures or delivery issues
  • Monitor ETL jobs in SAP Data Services and escalate issues as needed
  • Assist with ETL development tasks, testing, and validation of ETL changes
  • Perform routine data quality checks using established processes
  • Work with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions
  • Work with business users to test and troubleshoot reports, update schedules, and provide report access
  • Document report logic, job processes, and issue resolutions 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, Finance, or a related field. Will consider master’s degree equivalent to 1 year of direct experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with SAP Business Objects WebI Reporting, and Universe design or similar reporting tools
  • Proficiency in SQL and exposure to relational database architecture (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, SAP HANA)
