We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Manager with revenue cycle experience to lead the business intelligence team and translate complex operational challenges into scalable, data‑driven solutions for business intelligence, automation, and AI‑enabled revenue cycle initiatives. This is a hands-on manager role requiring strong understanding of data modeling and architecture, the ability to write complex SQL queries, and manage data pipelines. This role requires at least 5 years of experience leading business intelligence teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and Develop the Business Intelligence Team

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance management for the Business Intelligence team.
  • Establish priorities, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of analytics, reporting, data engineering, and automation initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, technical excellence, and customer service.

Serve as a Hands-On Technical Leader

  • Act as the senior technical resource and escalation point for complex data, reporting, and application issues.
  • Maintain the ability to independently perform the work of senior BI team members including SQL development, data analysis, troubleshooting, report design, and solution architecture.
  • Lead root cause analysis and resolution of production issues impacting reporting, integrations, and operational workflows.

Own Revenue Cycle Analytics Strategy

  • Partner with executive leadership, operations, clients, and product teams to identify opportunities for improved performance through data, automation, and AI.
  • Develop and maintain key revenue cycle performance metrics including AR, cash collections, denials, underpayments, productivity, quality, and client-specific operational KPIs.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable analytics and reporting solutions.

Lead Data Architecture and Governance

  • Design and oversee enterprise data models, database structures, data warehouses, and reporting architecture that support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain data standards, governance processes, metadata management, and documentation practices.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, reliability, and scalability across all reporting and analytics platforms.
  • Manage ETL, Data Pipelines, and Integrations
  • Lead the design, development, monitoring, and optimization of ETL processes, data pipelines, APIs, and file-based integrations.
  • Ensure data moves efficiently, securely, and accurately between client systems, operational applications, reporting platforms, and AI solutions.
  • Monitor pipeline performance and proactively identify and resolve data quality or processing issues.

Own Business Intelligence and Reporting Platforms

  • Oversee the development, maintenance, and enhancement of dashboards, scorecards, self-service analytics, and executive reporting solutions.
  • Lead Power BI architecture, semantic models, security design, performance optimization, and deployment practices.
  • Ensure reporting solutions are intuitive, actionable, and aligned with business objectives.

Manage Work Intake, Prioritization, and Delivery

  • Triage incoming tickets, enhancement requests, defects, and project work.
  • Manage the BI backlog, sprint planning, resource allocation, project timelines, and stakeholder communications.
  • Balance strategic initiatives with operational support and client-facing priorities.

Ensure Data Quality and Operational Excellence

  • Establish validation processes, monitoring tools, and quality controls to ensure data accuracy across reporting and operational systems.
  • Lead investigation and remediation of data discrepancies, reconciliation issues, and client-reported concerns.
  • Define testing standards and oversee user acceptance testing for data and reporting releases.

Act as a Strategic Business Partner

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executives, operational leaders, clients, and technology teams by providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support strategic planning, client implementations, mergers, new service offerings, and enterprise technology initiatives through data-driven decision making.
