Job description

Business Development/Partnership Executive/$70K-$250K+

Fusion Growth Partners is a business incubator and micro venture capital firm which invests in promising small service-related businesses and individuals like real estate agents, loan officers, or professionals within an organization that want to grow their business and personal brand. Fusion helps you stand out in your marketplace by focusing on product, position, and process. Our system, when implemented, helps you reach the balance of growth you are seeking. Fusion invests our own capital and assets into your business. By actually working IN your business and doing much of the work you do not have the time to do, we help you work ON your business.

Job Description

This is a remote position.

Business Development/Partnership Executive/$70K-$250K+

This is not a typical sales job. But it starts with sales.

We're looking for someone rare — a person who is wired to prospect, pitch, and close, AND sophisticated enough to act as a trusted business advisor to high-performing entrepreneurs.

If that describes you, keep reading.

What You're Selling

Fusion Growth Partners is an Inc. 5000 company (ranked 813th nationally) that invests capital, staff, and infrastructure directly into the businesses of residential real estate agents — helping them scale from solo producer to true enterprise. We fund their marketing, hire and pay their staff, and build the operational machine. Our partners don't pay us a coaching fee — we earn a return from the revenue growth we help them generate.

You are selling one of the most compelling business propositions in the market: growth funding with no out-of-pocket cost to the client, backed by a proven model and over 300 team members delivering the work.

The Role — Two Phases

Phase 1: Sales & Business Development (Inside Sales) You will prospect, present, and close new partner relationships. This means outbound outreach, structured sales conversations on Zoom, and guiding high-earning real estate professionals through a detailed evaluation of our investment model. Our close rate at the final deal stage exceeds 50%.

If you don't genuinely love the hunt — the calls, the follow-up, the pipeline — this is not for you. If you do, there are few better platforms to excel.

Phase 2: Advisory & Portfolio Management As your book of business grows, your role evolves. You become the board-level advisor to your partners — running strategy meetings, driving accountability, and ensuring every partner in your portfolio is growing. This is where sophistication matters. You must be able to influence strong-willed, high-income entrepreneurs and guide them to take actions that will benefit their business even when those actions require patience.

The Entrepreneurial Path — Build Something of Your Own

This is where it gets different.

Fusion is in a period of rapid national expansion. The opportunity ahead of you is not just a sales job — it is the foundation of your own business division within Fusion. As you prove yourself, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Become a Contract Negotiator (Hero) — running final deal meetings for the broader team, exclusively focused on closing
  • Build a Consulting Portfolio — your own book of partner clients generating recurring revenue-share income
  • Lead Your Own Division as Vice President — recruiting, training, and mentoring your own team of Partnership Executives, with an override on every client in your division

Think of it less like climbing a corporate ladder and more like building a franchise within a proven system. The infrastructure, the brand, the model, and the clients are already here. The question is how big you want to build it.

Compensation & Earnings Potential

This is a commission-based, revenue-sharing role with a typical first-year earning potential of $70,000. As you build your partner portfolio and expand your book of business, your income potential scales rapidly realistic earnings can reach $250,000+ annually within your first three years. Commission is uncapped and directly tied to the growth of your portfolio and division, putting your earning power completely in your hands.

You Are the Right Person If:

  • You have a track record of success in sales — financial services, B2B, insurance, real estate, or similar — and you're hungry for a bigger platform
  • You can hold a sophisticated conversation with a six-figure business owner and earn their trust
  • You think like an entrepreneur and want to build something, not just collect a paycheck
  • You are disciplined, self-directed, and do not need to be managed

This is Not Right for You If:

  • You are looking for a high salaried position with limited performance pressure
  • You find outbound prospecting uncomfortable or draining
  • You want to advise without first proving yourself in sales
