Job description: Project Manager with Business Analyst consultant
This role will require a mix of primarily analytical work and some project management. This individual will be the first line of contact between the business and IT as the business analyst to communicate the technical solution and/or implementation details to ensure that the requirements are met. As a project manager this individual will be responsible for translating business goals and objectives into a concrete project scope, plans and actions. They will work with different teams to align resources to plans and define, track and communicate appropriate performance measurements to project teams and stakeholders.
Major Responsibilities & Accountability:
Accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities.
Schedule and facilitate peer reviews for all phases and project deliverables.
Define project tasks and resource requirements
Manage project budget
Manage project resource allocation
Plan and schedule project timelines
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
Provide direction and support to project team
Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
Lead cross functional teams to develop software solutions
Be the liaison between IT and the business

Creation and management of business requirements and functional/nonfunctional requirements including planning, analysis and documentation
Requirements:
5+ years of IT Business Analyst/Project management experience
Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, negotiation and leadership skills
Assess and manage scope changes, risks, dependencies, resource constraints and conflict
Strong knowledge of IT systems, practices and functional units
Keep team members motivated, resolve conflicts and make hard decisions between team members and stakeholders.
Manage deliverables and commitments according to established project schedule.
Keep and maintain project budget and ensure team time tracking stays within established budget.
Solve problems that may come up during a typical work day including analyzing data and making decisions that affect the project on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
Proficient with project management tools.
Bachelor degree in a technical discipline preferred
Microsoft Office applications to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Business Process Knowledge to include Project Management and Reporting, Financial Management and Reporting, and Resource Management and Reporting
Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
