About the role
Creates the long-range strategy for Carrier including monitoring the internal and external environment for financial growth opportunities. Leads business development efforts including M&A and Integration. Utilizes financial and market analysis as a key tool to drive strategy and partnership decisions.
This position follows a hybrid schedule, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week
Key Responsibilities
  • Identifies internal and external strategic issues which could affect growth and profitability to help develop long-range objectives and strategic plans for the corporation or a major division.
  • Lead financial modeling, business case development, due diligence coordination, and risk assessment for potential acquisitions, divestitures, and partnerships
  • Synthesizes current business intelligence or trend data, makes recommendations for actions, and provides market insights.
  • Monitors and evaluates the external environment for financial growth opportunities.
  • Supports the oversight of a business development project team which evaluates, analyzes, and formulates strategies to lead business growth
  • Directs the planning and preparation of business proposals, and makes recommendations to senior management to drive.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and investment memos for internal decision-making and board review.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Tax, HR, IT, and Business Units to structure, negotiate, and close transactions.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, or Accounting
  • 5+ years' experience in Finance, Business Development, and/or Strategic Planning

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA preferred
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Strong problem solving, planning and project management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience in Construction, HVAC Service businesses
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
